FIRST AID SESSIONS FOR PARENTS - learn the skills in 2.5 hours: Most accidents occur in the home environment and the vast majority of first aid is given to family members by family members. Would you know what to do? Know that you can rely on yourself and know that your children can rely upon you.  Care for Children First Aid provides sessions tailor made for parents of young children with the focus on children’s first aid needs.  Parents are now being given the opportunity to participate in a first aid session that is appropriate to them.  Available in Mahon Point Shopping Centre and The Blanchardstown Centre and we also travel to provide private sessions in your own home or community hall.    PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID FOR CRECHE STAFF AND TEACHERS - certified course in 1 day: Carers of children have a lot of responsability both in the classroom and while playing outside.  Ensure that all your staff have the confidence, knowledge and skills to deal with any first aid crises.  Teachers and childcare staff are now being given the unique opportunity to gain these skills in an easy going environment with their colleagues which also doubles up as a brilliant team building exercise.  Our certified programme has been approved by the HSE's pre-school inspectorate.    Refresher Course in Kells on Saturday 4th September We create an environment that encourages easy learning and good fun! Our unique approach to learning ensures that all our participants leave with the confidence to handle any first aid crisis. Choose from the Following: All our certified courses include training in the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).  Our Paediatric First Aid Course is a one day certified course with the focus on infants and children, their life threatening situations, their injuries and their specific illnesses.  Our Adult First Aid Course is a one day certified course with the focus on teenagers and adults.  Typical adult illnesses differ considerably to typical childhood illnesses.  We also cover sports injuries on this course. Our Adult and Child First Aid Course is a two day certified course covering all aspects included in the above two courses.  Our First Aid for Scuba Divers Course is a one day course which expands the Adult First Aid Course to include injuries and illnesses often seen in the sport of diving.  We train in the use of oxygen administration on this course.  We also do a range of non-certified sessions and for more details visit the Consultancy Page.
