The First Aid for Scuba Divers with Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and Oxygen Administration is a one day certificate course covering the following:

Scene Assessment
Barrier Use
Primary Assessment
Adult CPR
Choking Adult
Serious Bleeding Management
Spinal Injury Management
Shock Management
Injury Assessment
Illness Assessment
Bandaging
Splinting
Training in the Administration of Oxygen in a Diving Emergency
Training in the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

Other topics discussed include: Lung Injuries, Air Embolism, Decompression Sickness, Hypothermia and Ear or Sinus Barotraumas.

Course costs: €150
Successful participants receive a two year certificate in Primary and Secondary Care with AED.
